dafederspiel:

Visited Oregon this weekend to catch up with my west coast family.  One of the parties was beneath the St. John’s bridge which spans the Willamette River.  Also known as “The Cathedral,” it is a spectacular structure, rising up to 408ft at its tallest point.

Kid: That's where the world's biggest mushroom is!

Me: ....what?

Kid: The world's biggest mushroom! It's in Oregon. I saw it on TV!

Me: I...would absolutely believe that. Without question.
